Heat pump technology makes air conditioners and refrigerators work, so it isn’t new. But some of its applications are. Residential heat pump systems, which may replace gas and resistive heat furnaces over the next 10 years or so, have been around only since the 1990s. Heat pump water heaters are a more recent development. They account for about 1% of water heater sales in 2022, a number that will probably grow.

I have a friend who used to travel around the country teaching the art of glassblowing. A few years ago, he showed me how to stretch glass into thin fibers to use for texturizing art pieces. He told me manufacturers use same basic technique on a larger scale to produce fiberglass.

Chlöe Bailey's debut solo album, In Pieces, dropped on March 31, and she revealed she got some very expert advice on the 14-track project ahead of its release. According to Billboard, her first solo effort is Beyoncé-approved. "Yes, I know she listened to the album," Chlöe revealed to ET during the Atlanta premiere of her new movie Praise This. "She gave me notes on it before I released it." She continued, "I love her so much. Dearly, dearly, and I’m so grateful to her for everything.

As Lawrence's attorney has fought to get the incredibly private pictures taken offline, one porn site is allegedly refusing to take them down -- claiming that the Academy Award-winning actress does not own the copyright to some of the photos, since they are not all selfies. In fact, the porn site has allegedly gone as far as to ask for proof of Lawrence's copyright -- or the name of the photographer.
